Coromandel Accounting Limited is a chartered accountancy firm located in Coromandel Town and Whangapoua Beach and has been operating since 2012.
We are a small, dedicated team offering accounting services for small/medium sized businesses, self-employed individuals, trusts and clubs.
We are Xero Gold Partners and Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand Members.
After 5 years doing audits and reviews we have made the decision to concentrate on compilations and tax returns
Joanne Scott - CA
Company Director Joanne Scott graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Management in 1992. Jo qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995.
She has previously worked for CA Firms in Hamilton and Whitianga and spent 10 years in the manufacturing industry. She was the Financial Controller for the Coromandel Independent Living Trust during 2011 - 2023.
Jo and her family have lived in Whangapoua since 2003 and love the coastal lifestyle! She is passionate about her community and is past Treasurer of the Coromandel Gymnastics Club, Kuaotunu Kindergarten Charitable Trust and the Whangapoua Voluntary Rural Fire Force.
Anna Galvin - CAANZ Accounting Technician
Practice Manager Anna Galvin recently completed a Diploma of Business through Open Polytechnic of New Zealand, she then became a registered Accounting Technician with CAANZ. Anna is continuing her study with OPNZ to gain a Bachelor of Accounting.
Anna is a Xero Adviser with a Xero Payroll Certification. She is process driven and well organised with an eye for detail.
Her previous work experience includes being Service Delivery Coordinator at Coromandel Independent Living Trust a management role involving supervising and managing staff to ensure effective programme delivery, Manager and Budget Adviser for the Coromandel Budget Advisory Service, Co-ordinator of Coromandel Foodbank and 18 years in hospitality as both Chef and Kitchen Manager.
Anna is a Coromandel local, living on a 6.6-hectare lifestyle block with her family on the famous 309 Road.
Sheran Crosland - Xero Adviser and Xero Payroll Certified
Sheran first moved to the Matarangi area from Auckland in 1995 with her family. She has always enjoyed being involved in the community and is a life member of the Matarangi Volunteer Fire Force and has been on the Board of Trustees for Te Rerenga School.
Sheran worked for the developer of Matarangi for almost 13 years in an accounting role and later in management of The Dunes Golf Resort.
After a 3 year stint in Pukekohe, life has brought her back to Matarangi and she’s loving being able to spend time with family and friends in her little piece of paradise.
